Today we thought we would take you on a tour of the 10 Best Small Towns to Visit in Ontario. We chose what we think are some of Ontario’s prettiest and most interesting small towns. Summer is short in Canada but there is still time to take a vacation to one or more small Ontario towns. What they all have in common is that they offer one-of-a-kind shops, restaurants, handmade crafts and artisan creations, farmers markets, festivals and unique histories. We hope you are inspired to visit one or many of the towns on our list.

Most of these photos and images bring back memories or feed my longing to visit places and environments I’ve never been to or would love to revisit. For example, I’ve hiked, but never in the mountains. I’ve never been to a warm, sunny place where everything is done for me and I can just sit by the water with a drink and a book. Luxury!
Of course, even the places I’ve been to before will be viewed and understood differently now that I’m older, and I look forward to that.
