In case you’re wondering, no, I didn’t actually go for a drive in it, and, unfortunately, it definitely does not belong to me. I came across this photo on my phone and it made me smile, just like sitting behind the wheel of this vintage lovely did that day. A cheerful antidote to the yucky weather we’re having this week! Oh, and driving, or at least riding, in one of these is on my bucket list.

The Friday Exhale: 5 Thoughts on the Week

It’s Friday again! How did it get here so fast?! Here are some more bits and pieces that have made their way through our consciousness this week; useful, whimsical, fun short reads to make you smile and reflect and maybe even do some repairs on your own!

I don’t really know why rainbows happen. It has something to do with water droplets . . . I do know that they are fleeting, enchanting, tantalizingly out of reach above us and yet so soothing. I think of hope and dreams and Judy Garland and leprechauns waiting with a pot of gold and spirits lifting.
